Donations of any amount, large or small, made to Seeds of Light go into the Seeds of Light general fund, where they are then used in a variety of ways to support the projects with which we are involved.

Your sponsorship of only $35.00 US per month helps to cover expenses such as supplemental food, school fees, school uniforms, medical treatments, clothing and physical housing. The Seeds of Light Sponsorship Program connects sponsors to our projects in South Africa, which provide support to those affected by HIV/AIDS. Many are either orphans or vulnerable children who have at least one parent with AIDS. We identify existing, sustainable, under-assisted projects and give practical support, moving them into viable operations that uplift the community. We support orphan care when we drill wells and build gardens; donate vehicles, school supplies, food and emergency funding.

Seeds of Light Scholarship Program
The Seeds of Light scholarship program has sponsored a number of individuals who show real promise by providing grants to cover the cost of fees for education. This includes secondary education and university and technical training in a variety of skills. These grants have resulted in profound change in the lives of people who receive them.
Your pledge of $50 (or more) per month helps to cover living and school material expenses such as food, warm clothing, transport, books, and computer and school supplies to support a qualified young person while attending secondary school, university or technical college. In many cases, tuition is covered by a local government scholarship, but in order to receive it, the student must attend full-time. Therefore, if we can supply living expenses to supplement the tuition, we create a win-win.
