The Seeds of Light Programs are made possible by the generous support of many dedicated and caring individuals. Donations of any amount, large or small, made to Seeds of Light go into the Seeds of Light general fund, where they are then used in a variety of ways to support the projects with which we are involved.
We gratefully accept cash (in person), check or credit card donations. In South Africa, you can also make an internet transfer. Please contact us for banking details if you choose this option. As a contributing supporter of Seeds of Light, you will receive our bi-annual e-newsletter to keep you updated and informed about our various projects and events. Seeds of Light Orphan Sponsorship Program
Your sponsorship of only $35.00 US per month helps to cover expenses such as supplemental food, school fees, school uniforms, medical treatments, clothing and physical housing. A renewable 2 year commitment is requested. Click here to download a signup form to become a sponsor by making a monthly recurring donation.
The Seeds of Light Sponsorship Program connects sponsors to our projects in South Africa, which provide support to those affected by HIV/AIDS. Many are either orphans or vulnerable children, who have at least one parent with AIDS. We identify existing, sustainable, under-assisted projects and give practical support, moving them into viable operations that uplift the community. We support orphan care facilities, build gardens and dormitories; donate vehicles, school supplies, food and emergency funding.

Seeds of Light Scholarship Program
Your pledge of $50 (or more) per month helps to cover living expenses such as food, clothing, transport, books, and computer and school supplies, to support a qualified young person while attending university or technical college. In many cases, tuition is covered by a local government scholarship, but in order to receive it, the student must attend fulltime. Therefore, if we can supply living expenses to supplement the tuition, we create a win-win. This is a life changing opportunity for the student and the community, with a potential ripple effect that goes out far beyond the success of just one student.
