Seeds of Light Organisation
Seeds of Light was founded over 23 years ago by Leslie Temple-Thurston and Brad Laughlin as the humanitarian arm of CoreLight to address critical health and education challenges in one of the poorest areas of South Africa.
The organisation scope of work and direct impact on the communities it serves has greatly expanded since that time with five core programs and many initiatives developed to provide a path to greater self-confidence, better health, and expanded knowledge leading to a life filled with potential for joy and abundance.

Vision
To empower individuals and communities in underserved rural areas to realise their full potential and become self-reliant, confident, and supremely capable in building a brighter future for all.
Mission
We are a non-profit organisation dedicated to empowering young people in underserved rural communities in the Mpumalanga Region of South Africa. Working with local champions and community members our programs create foundations for youth facing adversity and limited resources to grow into future leaders and community builders.
Our multi-pronged and whole-person approach is focused on fostering confident, capable individuals ready to shape a brighter future.
Our commitment is to always act from a foundation of Love in Action and the Spirit of Ubuntu (Zulu ùbúnt’ù).
“I am because you are."
